Good on you dude! We have also been drinking a lot of tea. I made a couple liters of fresh mint/ginger/lime tea and stuck it in the fridge. We went thru the first liter on Saturday. Very tasty indeed.

We’ve got something similar here where a certain amount of people are allowed in at a time. The larger the establishment, the longer the lines outside of it. Haven’t gotten the hang of it quite yet. Obviously, avoid the big stores at the weekend.

I will be making a couple of liters for our annual street party tomorrow. Served with appropriate social distancing of course 😉

I managed to score two of the first releases by Waterford Distillery (Ireland). https://waterfordwhisky.com/ We had a Waterford masterclass last October at the Whiskybase Gathering in Rotterdam. Some amazing 'new make' and almost whiskies were tasted. If you get the chance to try some, by all means do. I was unable to get a bottle of the third whisky that was released with these two. That one is only available in Ireland it seems. Couldn't find it online anywhere. Funny thing about the two bottles that I did get is that almost every site that I found offering them was in Germany. Irritatingly, a majority of them only deliver within Germany. Oh well, all's well that ends well 😀

Although, tbh, I see a lot to be optimistic about, even from the pandemic - eg speed of development & distibution of vaccines, renewed appreciation for institutions such as NHS and WHO, a vast amount of people doing heroic work in all kinds of fields. Unfortunately they haven't been in the spotlight like the malign overgrown babies, Orange Bozo & Eton Bozo.

I lost one friend in Austin, Texas on 11 March. Randon & I knew each other since August 1978, when I moved to Houston. The first friend I made in the state of Texas. He’d been having some other health issues since December 2019, but the virus got him while he was in a skilled nursing facility. He was 65. Just lost another friend in Houston a week ago. Not likely Covid-19. Steve died in his sleep of what is believed to be a heart attack. No prior medical history of heart disease. Just gone at 69. This really sucks. .
