Tony Goes to Tokyo... is probably my most played piece of Bill's music. Whilst listening the other day to the sparkled up version on Transcorder, I remembered something I read about the song, (in Sounds?), way back when it was first released. If I remember correctly, it was written about Tony Mitchell visiting Japan at around that time. Was Tony the writer for Sounds that always gave Bill's music a glowing report, and have I remembered the origins of the song correctly?

Ok, I would normally put this song/promo video in the Fav Promo Music Vids thread, in fact I like it so much I think I will post it there aswell......There are a couple of reasons I gave this it's own thread. The main one being, it's great to see young adults like this making such good music, it's a fab song, aswell as being inventive and not being affraid to bring a lovely warm humour into play. I think they got the balance just right...and how the lead guitar player looks at 1:32 into the video = epic!😂 It gives my heart a little hope for the future, including musically, when I see young kids doing so great, and playing such really good, original and inventive, 'proper' music...love it!...😎 Slug Bug ~ Old
