Kept trying to think of what that guitar riff reminds me of and it's the guitar solo in Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel. Thinking about that riff, I think John Lennon was inspired by at least three times with Yer Blues, Cold Turkey and It's So Hard and Paul McCartney with Let Me Roll It.

Rereading my reply, I might not have answered the question clearly. This is purely my thoughts on the subject. I think the House and Senate will remain partisan and a huge amount of people think Biden's presidency is illegitimate. Trumpism will remain with some for a very long long time and politicians will continue to play to those fantasies in attempts to gain support for their own gain. So for the near time, Biden won't be given a fair shake and it will be an uphill battle. I hope that over time common sense will prevail for the common good; but I think if this occurs it will be in small steps, not in great strides. Cheers...

Every time I see this thread, it takes me back to when I was age nine or ten, somewhere in there when I first heard Elton John's 'Rock Of The Westies' album and the song 'Street Kids' in particular, the way he sings the line 'The RUT I'm in' and I didn't know what the word "rut" was at the time. I'd like to break away From the rut I'm in But beggars can't be choosers And I was born to sin "I was born to sin" ... only someone with a bit Catholicism in 'em would throw that in, methinks. Haven't heard that in ages. Still loves the way he delivers that line. Then in 2020 finally heard the song Elton without Bernie wrote for Lulu to sing for the UK entry in the Eurovision contest in 1969, but she passed on it, 'I Can't Go On Living Without You' with the line If you could see the state I'm in you'd never know That it was the same old me that told you to go Looks like Lulu recorded it in 1969 though.
