- "Cries and Whispers" - half-priceIn William's World·20 February 2025Burning Shed has the "Cries and Whispers" book at half-price until the end of February. "Detailing the fascinating musical adventures of Richard Barbieri, Rob Dean, Steve Jansen, Mick Karn and David Sylvian from 1983 to 1991, the book takes in Sylvian’s solo work, The Dolphin Brothers, Dali’s Car, the brilliant but ill-feted reunion release Rain Tree Crow, and more. Designed by Carl Glover, it includes many rare photographs, plus contributions from Bill Nelson, Johnny Marr, Bill Bruford, Robbie Aceto, Simon Raymonde, Ivo, Martin Fry, Michael Brook, Tim Bowness, Paul Morley, Thomas Dolby, the late Colin Vearncombe and others." https://burningshed.com/store/flash-sale/anthony-reynolds_cries-and-whispers_book21170

- U.K.SUBS...In World Outside The Window·23 December 2024First wave punk band. I'm a massive fan, still, and seen them many times. Any other fans here? I usually can't stand old bands churning out the same old stuff from decades past and many times, I think it's quite sad really. But with the U.K.SUBS, I don't feel any of that. I'm posting part of a set they performed in Amsterdam, earlier this year, and they sound bang on. You gotta remember, Charlie Harper (singer) had just turned 80 years old when they played this gig, I mean, not bad going and he still sounds pretty damn good. I'll always have a soft spot for the SUBS!...💪😎 UK Subs 27 May 2024 Amsterdam, Melkweg Rock on Charlie!!2156

- Popping my CloggsIn William's World·22 June 2024…predictive text is a pain…I have set myself a task of playing all my mixtape homemade cdrs…so far I am 556!….also I am reordering my cd collection chronologically. It’s the most sensible option for making sense. It’s clear that however fine Powertron is, and it is, it comes from a different world. Covid did change things and the is somewhere else than 2016. I am hoping I can complete listening to my music collection at least once. Obviously repeats will happen on purpose or otherwise. I count myself luCKy.21198
- Random ObservationsIn World Outside The Window15 December 2023Has anyone noticed how useless the weather forecasts in the UK have become? This morning they predicted clear skies and sunshine for msot of the day in London. It's mid day and the sky is resolutely overcast with not a sign of a break in the clouds. They can't even get consistent weather icons for the local and national weather forecasts. The national forecast will show London with one icon and the local forecast will show a different one.21

- Mazda Kaleidoscope available on BandcampIn William's World5 March 2021Bill wrote on the Bandcamp page: "[Silvertone Fountains, Illuminated at Dusk, and Mazda Kaleidoscope] The trilogy is meant to be heard as a whole, in sequence...each album is just one third of the total idea. Until you've heard all three in the correct sequence, you'll only get part of the epic picture it paints. What is the "correct sequence"???21

- Masters of Macabre, Hosts of Horror...In World Outside The Window30 July 2021“Shock Theatre” was a hosted horror movie show with Ed Meloan as "Count Justin Sane" screening firstly on Saturday nights, then both Friday & Saturday nights on WRDW, Channel 12 in Augusta, Georgia between 1968 &1974. The coffin used on the show was made out of a couple of sheets of 3/4 plywood which was painted a dull grey. The handles did come from a real coffin. The inside of the “coffin” was lined with a wine-colored, very heavy cloth that had originally been one of the stage curtains of the old Imperial Theater. I watched this show religiously when I lived in Augusta, GA. .21
