- WILLIAM'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF GUITARS. (A personal series of six string sentiments...)In William's World23 October 2020Brian Jones, who was generally acknowledged as the 'best' musician in The Rolling Stones' but who, in many ways squandered his talents through excessive drug and alcohol abuse, had a slightly more interesting harem of guitars than his fellow Stone keith Richards. Here he is with a green Gretsch Double Anniversary model. (I own exactly the same model but with a Bigsby fitted.)21
- WILLIAM'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF GUITARS. (A personal series of six string sentiments...)In William's World29 May 2020HERE'S A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE BALDWIN SEMI-ACOUSTIC WHEN IT WAS FIRST INTRODUCED BY BURNS WITH A BURNS BRANDING... FENTON WEILL GUITARS WERE THE FORERUNNER OF BURNS GUITARS AND, WHILST SOMEWHAT CRUDER IN THEIR DESIGN, SHOW ELEMENTS OF JIM BURNS' LATER IDEAS. HERE ARE SOME PHOTOGRAPHS OF FENTON-WEILL GUITARS: YOU CAN CERTAINLY SEE ELEMENTS OF THE LATER BNURNS DESIGNS IN THE ABOVE PHOTO' OF A FENTON-WEILL MODEL. ANOTHER FENTON-WEILL GUITAR, THIS ONE HAS A MAPLE FRETBOARD AND RED POSITION MARKERS. ABOVE IS ANOTHER FENTON-WEILL MODEL WITH AN OFFSET BODY SHAPE. THIS FENTON-WEILL HAS A VERY SMALL BODY, SIMILAR IN SIZE TO THE LATER BURNS 'SONIC' MODEL.21

- Nelsonic TransitoneIn William's World·31 January 2021OK - here goes. I posted a few weeks ago to see if selling via Dreamsville is acceptable...no one complained! So its time to part with my Campbell American Guitars Nelsonic Transitone. She is 006 and is in perfect condition. She has been out of the case just a few times since arriving in August 2007. There isn't a single mark on her. Bought purely as a mark of respect and out of my love for BBD and Bill's music...but was never going to suit my chord playing. All the original documentation and certificate of authenticity is included I have a series of additional photos that I am happy to email if anyone is interested. As she is genuinely as good as new...I am looking for a high price. If I can't recoup the original outlay along with a little extra...I will keep her and see if I can get past E A D!! Happy to post to pretty much anywhere in the world (although currently Covid19 is making that a little tricky) with the relevant insurances. Of course - you are welcome to collect from South West London I look forward to hearing form you if you are interested Best and thanks for taking time to get this far. Richard21335
- WILLIAM'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF GUITARS. (A personal series of six string sentiments...)In William's World27 August 2020From the rare and exotic to the rather more mundane, but perhaps a little bit rare too these days. "It's a great guitar" says George Harrison...21
- WILLIAM'S WONDERFUL WORLD OF GUITARS. (A personal series of six string sentiments...)In William's World9 August 2020No guitars in this pic though there is a guitarist. Those of us of 'a certain age' will remember when Jimi Hendrix appeared live on the Lulu television show back in the '60s. The Jimi Hendrix Experience suddenly brought to a halt their scheduled performance and went into an improvised jam of The Cream's 'Sunshine Of Your Love' to mark the break up of Clap[ton, Baker and Bruce. A few seconds into the jam Jimi mischievously looked at the camera and said "We're gonna be taken off the air any minute now..." Or words to that effect. It's one of the legendary moments of live music television. Anyway, here's a nice photo' of Jimi and Lulu together. She's clearly looking like the cat who got the cream!21
