Dave, I have developed a similar condition. Thank you for your post--if it helps a bit - you're not alone. Thank goodness my memory is still there, but I slur and shuffle around the house and dexterity is not good. I'm doing the clinical trial thing...the best thing that I can do now is eat good (the Mind Diet) and take my supplements. Thanks for the videos. I've seen some parts of them. I'm getting a glimpse of what my older brother (who turned me on to Be Bop Deluxe) experienced when they toured over here in southern California. Good health to Bill and us.

I cannot find Transcorder just now. Isn't "Strangest Things..." the one that starts with the quote "could have become Mr Big Rock Star"? That quote is - I'm pretty sure - from journalist/presenter Robin Denselow introducing an interview with Bill on an early-evening BBC2 music show. It's odd that I've never even thought about the quote that leads to the title of the piece. Sorry I can't add anything else about this one.

I would like to think you were framing both sleeve versions together, sitting side by side. The black & white, light & dark, yin & yang, the duality...that would look / be really cool..😎 Just a thought..😊

My immediate thought would be the accent, which definitely sounds kinda southern English to me. That said, my ear for accents has been twisted by 30 years in the US, and I can't nail UK accents down to within five miles or so any more 😁

No. Very complex program to explain, but it calculates sound based on the color and position of each pixel on the screen; you can also draw in sustained sounds with the mouse, or individual notes as dots on the screen. I've imported graphic files from an old program called MacThuga and obtained some interesting sound files...

From Ebay, I recently picked up a copy of 'Live in the Air Age'. It is in white vinyl. The funny thing is there are three disks with one having a whole side that is Blazing Apostles. The original U.S. release was two disks.

Bill wrote the soundtrack specifically for the production.

So many great titles. I especially like, Dance Of The Sonic Culture Gods. Classic Bill Nelson title. 😎

Good points, Tourist. It is difficult to imagine it. I keep thinking of "Glow World" and "Metaphysical Jerks" but that was a different style entirely and those two are a different style from one another. "Metaphysical Jerks" is pretty hard and crunchy. Thinking on it, along with those you mentioned Tourist, I could also imagine the fretless employed on "Japan" and on "Surreal Estate" as well as on "New Precision" . . .

Nice pics. There is a decent audience recording of this show. Bill Nelson 1981 Retford Porterhouse Sounds like it was a good show. Too bad it is not a better recording.

I hope you get your wish but, if I may dampen the mood, I suspect most of the potential customers already have the boxed sets and would be unlikely to re-purchase a DVD collection of the same material, and most of the material does not suggest sufficient source quality to justify an upgrade to hi-def/hi-res Blu-Ray.
