'GUITARS OF TOMORROW'
In the early months of 2023, during Bill's continued daily recording schedule, a couple of instrumental tracks steered him in a particular musical direction, a direction that continued for quite some time. Work on material for this project of instrumental albums which was given the collective title Guitars Of Tomorrow and recording for this project came to a conclusion at the end of May 2026 when Bill once again got the bug for recording vocal tracks.
In July 2024 Bill announced that the title of the first album would be Magical Thinking, then in December 2025 revealed that the title of the second album in the series would be called Tonight In Dreamland. In May 2026, Bill shifted the approach to the second album to be centred on the title track Elsewhere, so the title Tonight In Dreamland was pushed back to the third album in the series.
During track selection for the first three volumes of this project, Bill decided that Volume 2 would be given the title of The Art Of Light and the album Elsewhere would become Volume 3.
The first three volumes were mastered at Fairview Studios in June 2026.
