Pre concert programme days. From my Leeds University days. Remember it well. Great concert. Note the ticket cost! What else could be bought for a £1 in 1973? Remember Longdancer?
Well, although I was familiar with the name and I probably have heard music by them way back when, I can't honestly say I know anything about, or by them...so I thought I would check them out.
So I nipped over to YouTube and found their first album 'If It Was So Simple' (just now) and have listened to two or three tracks..and I have to say, very nice as well!..well worth a listen and I might even try and track this one down!...thanks for the tip kevin!
£1 does seem an awfully low price but now that I think about it, a ticket to see a movie in the US in 1973 I believe was maybe 25 cents? It doesn’t seem possible. Maybe I’m wrong. Longdancer ... the opposite of ‘Tiny Dancer’ ?
