Had the good fortune, because of my brother, of meeting the man along with Muff (Mervyn) Winwood, Steve's brother, when I was a child. I do remember them both as being very tall ( I was very small) with plenty of jokes, grins, laughter and chatter.
Didn't know until today that Mervyn Winwood was called 'Muff' Winwood after popular 1950s children television show character Muffin The Mule.
