There’s an element of parody in Derringer's music and so it should come as no surprise his association with Weird Al Yankovic. Having said that it’s still a surprise.
Frankenstein was a classic...I was only thinking a few months back what a great song it was, might even have posted as a single track of the day on this site, around then, can't quite remember. Great production, very powerful. I will play it tonight too.
Just read the Edgar Winter Group played this song on The Old Grey Whistle Test in 1973, featuring Rick Derringer on guitar. I seem to have a hazy memory of that and will have to check that out as well.
