Interesting piece from the Beeb, reminding us that Charles has always been an outspoken campaigner on global warming & environmental issues: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-62876790
He'll have to appear politically neutral as king, but "his friends and advisers say he will not cool on the issue of global warming." It'll be interesting to see how the press cover this (particularly the parts of the Conservative press that have largely mocked & attacked environmental campaigners).
Here's another BBC piece (from last year) which cites Charles as saying "he understands why campaigners from organisations like Extinction Rebellion take to the streets to demand action on climate change".
With Greta Thunberg:
Thanks. I was thinking of him recently regarding his vegetarianism (?) and other aspects related to that side of his life that have been revealed over the years. My mother liked the royals. One time I bought her a book called ‘Architecture & the Environment: HRH Prince of Wales and the Earth In Balance.’ I asked her later what she thought of it and she shrugged and said, “He cares about things.”
