I was going to say something about you being a fan of big beautiful organs but I don't know you that well 😊

It is a lovely church. We have heard organ recitals there over the years. We have neighbors that are choir members. We have seen them perform in St Bavo too.

What is confusing is that both major churches in Haarlem were, until recently, called St Bavo. The oldest one, on the main market square, is generally known as the Grote Kerk. The newer one is the actual seat of the Bishopric. It is just a few minutes walk from our house. (Actually both churches are.) It was renamed last year to avoid confusion. It is now officially the Kathedrale basiliek Sint Bavo. Most people are still calling it St Bavo.
