Very sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. I was informed of it by John Leckie in a 'phone call last night. Gerry was a very talented guy who wrote and recorded some classic songs of the '60s. I seem to recall seeing him perform in Blackpool back in the day at one of the town's many venues. He had an instantly recognisable voice and visual character with that Gretsch Tennessean guitar strapped high under his chin. And yet another artist leaves the stage for unknown realms. Rest in peace...

So upbeat....would like to go back in time and see what the scene was like back then, as a teenager..must have been so exciting.
