George Segal (13 February, 1934 – 23 March, 2021) was an American actor and musician. He became popular in the 1960s and 1970s for playing both dramatic and comedic roles.
My father took me to see The Terminal Man when I was 9 years old and I was grateful that he thought I could take in such an odd movie. Haven't seen it since. I remember my mother liked Who's Killing The Great Chefs of Europe "because of the cast" she pointed out. I remember liking Rollercoaster, but only saw it once.
RIP George xx
No 'Owl and the Pussycat' fans?
Always loved this line from the film: (Watch the video first and you will get it)
"And since the sun has begun to spit, we just thought we'd get out there early and catch some of the morning drool."
RIP
Good points, wadcorp, and the movie Rollercoaster was the first time I remember Sparks because of Big Boy . . .
That whole segment produced a kind of elation that's hard to describe, funny, that can still be accessed when watching it even now.
I really like this Polish poster for the movie. It captures the vibe well . . .
Glad to see a mention of “The Terminal Man”. I saw it twice in theaters on it’s original release. A very clinical movie, in the same way “The Andromeda Strain” was.
Amazing performance by George Segal.
Long overdue for a re-watch.
