Anyone tried it? I've found it remarkably effective for getting rid of persistent background anxiety.
My first experience with it a few years ago was that it had zero effect. But I found later that this was because of confusion over dose (I'd been trying a cheaper oil that was very low CBD concentration and not clearly labeled). After a little bit of research, I recently tried higher concentrations, and found it worked. It's not up and downs of euphoria (it's practically zero THC - no "highs"), but for me very noticeably takes the edge off any anxiety throughout day. I just put around 10-15 drops of 4% concentration under tongue twice a day (after breakfast and evening meal). Pricey, of course, but the small bottle seems to last a long time.
I'd be interested to hear of others' experiences... Given the times we're living through, I'd expect CBD's popularity to soar, along with Bitcoin. 😁
Finding the right dosage and quality is crucial, and it seems like you've figured that out.
CBD is indeed known for its calming effects without the "high" associated with THC. Your routine of 10-15 drops of 4% concentration twice a day sounds like it's working well for you.
And you're right; CBD's popularity has been on the rise, especially given the stressful times we're living in. If you ever want to explore more CBD or related products, I recently stumbled upon an head shop online. They might have some interesting options worth checking out.
I thought I was trying it. It tasted nasty. Then I realised that what I'd got was just a craftly packaged bottle of hemp oil. Not even good for cooking.
Interested in CBD though.

Somehow I think she'd have approved of CBD oil, edibles, etc.
I have not tried CBD oil, but have tried Wonder Wellness Company Relax gummies, made by Cresco, which are 10mg CBD + 5mg THC per gummy. They are great for reducing pain and inflammation after strenuous tasks like mowing the lawn. I like the 2:1 ratio of CBD to THC - not so much of a buzz as a body high; quite soothing. I'm lucky that we have a dispensary right here in Homewood, Windy City Cannabis. However, the taxes on the products are limiting how much I'll spend (up to 40% state and local tax).
It might just be a "supply and demand" issue. If you live in a milieu in which high quality weed is readily available (or even legal) then why bother with CBD? But of course that's not the case for everyone, everwhere!
With ya on that background stuff.
No high . . . but background nonsense under control?
Guess I'll have to experience it.
I’ve never tried CBD, but I’ve been curious about it. I can’t imagine no highs from something like that, maybe that’s why. I suppose I’m wondering if there's no high “what’s left?” The idea of taking the edge off makes me wonder about what it does for sleep . . . 😴 💤
