I once heard a radio program, it was I think a tribute concert to Mick Ronson and some said he was playing at the event...? any confirmation on this?

There was a second Ronson tribute event in Hull. Bill was supposed to be playing but had to pull out through illness I think. I remember Big Audio Dynamite and , I think possibly Steve Harley. and also a Japanese band called Yellow Monkey ? Magic Monkey ? or something similar who had flown a jet full of schoolgirls over from Japan with them. The girls went wild for 'their' band but stood stock still, silent and bemused for the rest of the acts. Strange Day. Can anyone recall any other acts that day ?
