I love this new album …. it twists and turns with its beautiful textures sounds and rhythmic shifts, it’s reminiscent of Old haunts, Golden melodies of tomorrow and The Alchemical adventures of sailor Bill ….. it has that unique Bill Nelson twist and sounds better with every play …..an interesting aside, l purchased the download while waiting for the cd to arrive and didn’t pay attention to the track order when unzipping the .wav files …. the cd l burned sounded disjointed and odd to me, so when l started listening to the actual cd as intended the difference was startling….. like reading a book with the chapters out of sync. The album is best listened to as a whole ….. fabulous

Steve,
Very well put. Marvellous Realms has it's own atmosphere, like so many of Bill's albums, and it definitely gets better with each spin. I downloaded it as well, as I'm still waiting for my hard copies.
I also downloaded Stupid/Serious, a very different kettle of fish, and just as enjoyable. When I downloaded Stupid/Serious, track 9 disappeared. I eventually found it under a different song title and artist. For me, each download is a new adventure. 🙄
I've had both albums in rotation for a couple of weeks now, and loving every minute of it. 😎
I hope to get the actual physical copies this week. Not sure if it's the postal strike in the UK or the increasing unreliability of the US mail, but this is the longest I've every had to wait. Burning Shed shipped the CD's out promptly as always, so it's nothing to do with them.
Patiently waiting in Florida 🌞
