I have really been enjoying Starlight Stories. Bill's music never disappoints. For me, his music soothes the soul, and puts all the synapses back in place, so I can keep a clear head.
Thanks, once again, to Bill and all those involved. Keep up the good work. 😎
..and my second listen might have been in a car (not the best way) but it was through unlit countryside during dark, dark evening, nice and loud! This is a wonderfully accessible, memorable album with real strength - and gravitas, if that's the right word. I love the reference to 'October Man' during 'The Doctor was an Alchemist'!
Agree a really strong entry into Bill's impressively long discography. In my book nothing beats Bill in a melancholic mood. And with a dash of experimentation (as in Standing in a Starlit Room, Everything is Ancient Now, Celestrum).
Christmas came early, as I got my copy of Starlight Stories. Instead of putting it with the other presents, I will put it on shortly.
Happy Holidays!
