Hal played drums with The Avalanches, which seemed to want to bring about Ski Music , using Surf Music as a model, maybe?

The track below I believe is one of the earliest use of fuzz guitar, played by I believe Tommy Tedesco, whose guitar playing can be heard on TV programmes Bonanza, Green Acres, Twilight Zone, M*A*S*H, Batman, etc. ....

... And being that it's from 1963, it makes it 2 years prior to the famous fuzz guitar line Keith Richards plays ('Satisfaction' - The Rolling Stones).

  • Here is a flyer for my 'AUDITORIA' album which features a shot of Wakefield's 'Regal' ABC Cinema from the 1950s. I performed on that stage as a schoolboy in my band 'The Cosmonauts' and later with 'Group 66' and 'The Gibson Trio,' (when my mother and father sat in the balcony to watch me play.) Back then it looked as grand and glamorous as it does in this photo' but now it's a sad ruin and looks as if demolition is on the cards. Such is life...
