Good luck with it all! I found the flat quality when I was denoising the Robert Johnson recordings. So I mixed a treble version, bass version, and original version and missed all three to get a fuller sound. Of course now, Columbia has offered their denoised version of his recordings (Robert Johnson Centennial Collection), which I must say are magnificent.
