It's been ages since you last posted in your journal, but I'm hyped to see that you're finally back with a fresh entry! Can't wait to check it out and see what you've been up to lately.
And hey, since we're on the topic of writing and all, have you ever thought about submitting some of your work to literary magazines for new writers? They can be a great way to get your name out there and build up your portfolio. Reedsy has a solid blog post with tons of suggestions if you're interested in exploring some options.
But regardless of whether or not you're looking to get published, keep doing what you're doing and keep writing, man.
Thanks for bringing us up to date. We had a family member with similar eye problems. I understand how hard it must be for you. Losing so many friends and heroes of late must also be very hard. Unfortunately many of us are reaching that age now...
"But let me attempt to at least dance around my existentialist handbag, whilst avoiding emptying its messy contents all over the ballroom floor." (from the journal entry)
Always the poet. One of the things I love about you, Bill.
It's always great hearing from you. I'm sorry things haven't been so well in your world. I've been fighting off depression myself for the last couple of years, and health issues definitely can add to that. But, hang in there. Your music has helped me through some tough times, and I know there are many more who feel the same.
Take care, and all the best to you and Emiko. ๐

As a doctor I understand your visual problems, with macular involvement. I wish you the best , and am impressed by the stoicism you display on your posts . I respect your dignified approach- you set an example to us all . You music is invaluable to me , and I imagine all your
followers feel likewise . Thank you for the joy you have given your supporters. ๐๐๐

Nice to hear from you Bill!
Great to hear from you Bill!.....We've been patiently waiting...But I admit, I was getting a bit fidgety..๐
Try to remain upbeat Bill, and just remember all the positives you do still have!
Maybe now spring is finally here, it will usher in a little more optimism...I do hope so.
