Recently I got a nice email from Steve Peer, the drummer from the live Red Noise tour back in the day. He'd enjoyed the post I'd written on the album on PPM and he and his cohort Peter Cook were discussing Red Noise and "A Better Home In The Phantom Zone." As Steve played these tunes live he had some interesting insights as to the changes that Mr. Nelson was undertaking in that tumultuous time. Fans might want to check Drums + Wires episode 4 : "A Better Home In The Phantom Zone."

Absolutely fantastic....Sound On Sound was such a massive album for me and my friends at the time. Such an influential recording, it really did change the architecture of music back then, as noted by Steve Peer...
I don't know if Bill's seen this, but I'm pretty sure he'll be flattered..it should knock his socks off....Such nice guys.
Great stuff, thanks for posting.
