Just spotted a forthcoming 4 CD box set on Amazon called Electrical Language and includes the same named track. Looks like it’s from Cherry Red, covering 1978 - 1984 and includes some great tracks including one from Fiat Lux. Released May 31st.
The guys are very enthusiastic and complimentary about Bill and his playing and writing and both offer their respective top 10 favourite Be Bop tracks. It's probably not one of the most fluent presentations, but I think their love for Bill's musicianship is definitely genuine, and it's worth a watch...and it's nice to see Bill continue to get increasing exposure, with genuine fans like this, especially Pete Pardo, showing their respect and love for Bill and 'spreading the word'..no matter how late, it's bound to pick up new fans and to be fair, Bill's prolific work as a solo artist after the bright lights of BBD, does get mentioned....and, no 'Ships in the Night'!😉 I also think it's nice and definitely worthwhile cataloguing all such Bill related things, here on the forum.
I have just had a peek at the track list; it looks good. A bit pricey though. I'll have to ask the Father's Day Fairy if the kids could club together and buy me it!
Finally picked up a copy and flicking through the very nice book that accompanies the set noticed a track by a group called “Techno Pop”, seems it was a studio band based at Bill‘s favourite studio Fairview. Arch mix master John Spence doesn’t get a mention, before your time , John?!
