While perusing an old Guitar Player magazine (Nov 2007) I ran across a review of the Campbell American Nelsonic Transitone. Not sure if it was posted here previously so I have included the sidebar that Bill wrote. I never got to play one. However I recently acquired the Eastwood Astroluxe Cadet. The cream/red color combo and atom inlays were maintained.
I have this guitar serial number 49 and I have the guita player magazine as well! It’s an incredible guitar.
Thanks for posting that Ken. Fascinating to see how an instrument like this comes to life in such a musical collaboration. I'd love to have a Cadet - it's on the list right after a Gibson and a Martin, so not long to go...! How do you find it -all you hoped? Do you suddenly sound like Bill?
