This is the only podcast I manage to listen to and I'm refinishing my new baseboards this weekend and these will be my companions! Thrilled that Bill was able to do this and that it was rightly a 2-parter. Not many of those in "Electronically Yours."
It was really great to hear this interview with Bill.
At about 45 minutes of part 2, Bill speaks at length about a visual artist who he recalled as an occultist, working in surreal styles. Try though I might, I cannot understand the artist’s name as Bill voices it via the phone connection.
Really good to hear an interviewer say not only that he's been listening to both Trial By Intimacy and Chance Encounters in the Garden of Lights, but that he was floored by how amazing they are. That must be a first - at least among interviews I've heard (which have tended to concentrate on mainly Be Bop Deluxe).
I cannot wait to listen! I've been listening to the podcast for a couple of years now and Ware, despite talking over his guests, has had conducted some fabulous interviews. Toyah, Tony Visconti and Nile Rogers have been standouts. Really looking forwar dto hearing Bill!
This is great news. I've been hoping Bill would turn up here - he seemed such a good fit - especially after giving Fascist Groove Thang a good review in 1980-something! Thanks for sharing @Jon

Can someone who knows the name pass it along?
Thanks so much.

Great to hear this. Bill on good form. The podcast is dated Feb 24 - was it recorded that recently?
