I have really enjoyed filling the gaps in my collection through Bandcamp Fridays. Unfortunately, the last three have been releases I already have. (I guess that was bound to happen.) So I thought I would put up a request.
Demonstrations of Affection (I found the disk Details in a used record shop, but it would be great to get the rest.)
Blue Moons and Laughing Guitars
Confessions of a Hyperdreamer
Atom Shop
That's all for now. But I'm sure that other have gaps in their collections. Maybe we can all vote on the next Bandcamp Friday release?
Can I second the request for Demonstrations of Affection love to see this on Band Camp please 🙂👍
Thanks for the enjoyment of today's Band Camp download and Bill's vocals. 👍👍👍
I think Almost Opaque would make a wonderful box set. Toss in Exhibition Pieces as a bonus cd.
Since we’re making requests for BC Fridays….how about “Caliban And The Chrome Harmonium!” That would certainly be a favorite I would think!
On another note, I was perusing ITunes
Alternative DL sales today and saw “Chimera” listed, there were also a couple of Sylvian albums on the blocks as well!
I guess Bill has finally arrive
has him listed…😉.
I know that this is not the place but the Fair Exchange category was never moved over or created in the new forum so...
I have 2 copies of Picture House (dvd), 1 copy of Legends (dvd) and 1 copy of Painted from Memory (book) and a signed Auditoria that I would like to part with. PM me is you are interested.
Perhaps we should create a Fair Exchange category in the new forum?
always check Discogs! forget about evilbay
This set of tracks reminds me of Bill's melancholy mood. If I remember, Emi was away visiting her family at that time.
Please someday can 'Trial By Intimacy (The Book of Spendours)' get Bandcamped? We want. 😊
Like would like to know the album that this song was on. Very catchy tune 👍👍
@Pete - Glad you're filling some of the gaps with the Bandcamp releases. Sorry the last few have been unnecessary for your collection, obviously you can't please everyone!
There are plenty more titles to add to Bandcamp yet although it isn't a quick and easy process, a lot of work goes into preparing the albums for the digital treatment, so you may have to be patient waiting for specific albums.
The albums you mention will all get the Bandcamp treatment at some point in the future EXCEPT 'Blue Moons and Laughing Guitars' which is owned by Virgin, so unfortunately Bill doesn't have the rights to release that album.
