Finally picked up the box set and just listening to the new stereo remix. I thought my ears were deceiving me at first and wondered if it was just a brave, radical move for the remix 😉. Anyway, unless I’m missing somethin, there’s clearly something amiss on Furniture Music. The sequenced synth sounds out of sync! 👀 I went back to the original mix on disc 1 and that sounds fine. I’ve done a quick internet search and can’t find anything so after trying to remember my password for half hour I decided to ask the good people of Dreamsville. Has anyone else noticed this? Have I got a dodgy pressing? why is it just Furniture Music? If my Ears are indeed deceiving me I’m going to look silly (especially as this is one my favourite albums ever and I should know better). I’ve only listened to the remix so I’m going to go back and listen to all the discs to check the whole thing out. Hopefully someone here can enlighten me😬 Hope everyone is well and Happy Belated Birthday Uncle Bill! x
