Anybody else remember the tour? 20 July 1990 at Notre Dame Church, just off Leicester Square - Bill and Ian with backing tapes. Fantastic! Bought the cassette right there.
Currently this framing project lies on my guest bedroom bed on a Glacier National Park Pendleton Blanket. I redid the music room to make way for another bookshelf. Which I filled with cd's.
It was years before I realized there was a different UK version of album. I only had “On A Blue Wing” and still anticipate the next tune based on that US release.
Stop it! I will be forced to dig out my lp of GTHGA. I live in the states and it is an import album here. The record company rebranded it as On A Blue Wing. Then promptly went bankrupt.
Quinalt its best I do not play along 😂 ...I bought that Casio keyboard back in 1983 from an electrical shop in St Ives Cornwall ...it was sitting in the window ...its been around the world several times and been abused by all 4 of my kids as they grew up. And yes I'm sure there are some familiar splines on those CDs there's over 160 on that shelf all of which are Bill Nelson (some duplicates re-releases etc) not including the new 5.1 box sets which are on another shelf .....do you know there's even GTHGA 😁😂
I return to Altar Pieces often, played it earlier - tonight, however is a night for Stand By Light Coming ... an awesome album!
June 15th 1990, Wakefield Cathedral - the very special debut of the Altar Pieces set. So strange and different from any gig I'd ever attended!

Anniversary of “Altar Pieces” today.

I have been listening to Alter Pieces much more lately as well.
It was ordered. I am waiting.
Very nice Quinalt ..... a bit of rearranging required for Axevictim 👍♥️

Weren't there a couple of CD reissues? There's definitely one missing there, Steve...
