The Hierophant is, again, not with the greatest of sounds. It suggests someone, who through the recesses of his mind, can travel to the edges of the universe. The farther in, the farther out. A mind that understands the paradoxes of the Cross, of Jesus' paradoxical perfection. Jesus was tempted by Satan, but how is it possible that perfection can be tempted? Can 2 + 2 be tempted to be 5? Can an ant be tempted to have sex with Marilyn Monroe? So how could Jesus be tempted? That implies that there is already something evil in him that resonates with the temptation. So the Hierophant understands this and countless other mysteries. I understand he inhabits the churches and cathedrals in Wakefield.
