I am a home hobbyist producer and a teenager woken-up by BBD back in the 70's.
I build Songs (covers) in an unusual way, I start by assembling the band members to channel the essences off...
(in-depth research of equipment , sounds and nuance)
This project I have co-opted :
Drums = Neil Peart
Bass = Chris Squire
Keys = Vangelis
Guitar = Prince
Vocals = (some AI voice) like Demis Roussos or Alex Harvey
My Question is.... given this lineup... which Be Bop Deluxe song should I cover?....
Any input?
2nd attempt (had a bit of a brainstorm on first suggestion and posted the wrong track, Darkness...although?)
Firstly, what a great lineup, and literally after about 10 seconds, Night Creatures is the song that came to mind. Seems a perfect fit and would especially suit Prince and 'Alex Harvey', almost made to measure.
I think Ships in the Night could work too, with this lineup.
