From Hendrix to Superman
I will leave you guys with my All Along the Watchtower and Kryptonite. Watchtower was my very first video and people were amazed. Things came together in a very strong way. Word has gradually spread. Kryptonite was a different kettle of fish. With Watchtower everything flowed but with Kryptonite it was a chore. However, Kryptonite has its own charm. And when I watch it I am reminded of the hippie that No. 6 (Patrick McGoohan) picked up on the final episode of The Prisoner. He was the guy with the top hat singing, "The leg bone is connected to the hip bone." Anyway, it's all connected, Hendrix is connected to Superman.

Thank you Orphan! I appreciate your kind words. The funny thing with both these songs is they have the same chord structure (VI-V-IV) which Stairway to Heaven also shares. That connects them all in a big musical way. That chord structure is a rocker's paradise to solo over, and you'll find everybody from Neil Young to Metallica using that progression.
I will be doing a duet for Christmas with a good friend of mine and working on the Kraftwerk song you suggested. I'll post both here. Also, I have to thank Bill for allowing people to post their art, poetry, and music. It shows what a wide variety of creativity there is out there. In art, you have to take some chances. But the beauty of it is that if you crash your plane, you can walk away unscathed. Taking chances is the essence of it. It's the only way art will progress and new visions arise. May courage alight on golden wings!
