Its the little things that make an evening special.

Fab venue, attentive staff, meeting old friends, making new ones, chatting to Bill and Emi, enjoyable video with impressive soundtrack, superb new album, entertaining and informative Q and A.

The icing on the proverbial cake though was Bill and Emi taking the time at the end of the night to stroll around saying thanks for coming along and goodnight to the attendees. What a lovely gesture.

A fab night!

Bob

Getting there would have cost me something in the vicinity of $3000 or so (minimum) so I can live with the disappointment. :)

I'll just spend that money on the CD (or a little of it anyway). :)

I could not agree more, BobK. Bill was so generous to say goodnight to all the people in the lounge at the end of the night and I was briefly able to reminisce with Bill on seeing him play at a summer (Sundaze) festival in Northamptonshire in 1997, when I secured my first autograph on the event programme, which is framed and on my study wall.

I felt that the warmth and affection for Bill from everyone in the listening room during the Q&A was genuinely tangible and thought Bill was really enjoying himself when answering the varied questions. In fact, I don't think I was alone in being disappointed when the session had to end.

Very much looking forward to Nelsonica 12!

Oh, by the way, play the album loud boyz and girlz, play it loud...

Well put Bob - spot on comments.

Liked your suggestion of getting the 10-12 minute instrumental event intro released too.
