Indeed. But methinks this is more to do with US Postal sorting habits than anything SOS is doing.

I usually make it a rule to stop reading after the first four words of anyone's post. Additional reading does indeed verify your claims.

I've been absent from here about 2 weeks due to family and work commitments and was alarmed to see words Limited Edition 500 copies. Felt certain that I had missed out. But I placed my order yesterday and received order reference so I assume I'm OK. Two days public holiday in UK means that I'll be waiting until Thursday I imagine. But looking forward to hearing when it lands.

Syncing the music with the graphics is a clear as traversing a darkened room with a blindfold on.

No prompt from insertion of the cd.
Only I Tunes opens for the music which left me looking through my computer for visual files.
Im left with something that looks like I have to click on every frame.
Which is obviously wrong--I presume it should play like automatic ?

Arrrghhhh !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Alan, the syncing is manual. Can you find the read me file on the disk? Copy the PDF files to your computer and read them while listening to the tunes :D

I'm trying not to worry that mine has been lost in the stratosphere on its way to Panama City, FL.

If it doesn't arrive by tomorrow, I'll officially enter panic mode.

I just took the liberty of updating Matt Howarth's Wiki page with info about The Last of the Neon Cynics.

This is the first time that I have ever done an update to Wiki. It is a little rough. If anyone with a bit more Wiki savvy wants to pretty it up, go ahead.

Quote:
In the 2000s, Howarth published the six-issue series Bugtown and the second-volume of Keif Llama: Xeno-Tech (also six issues), both with MU Press.

In 2012, he released "The Last of the Neon Cynics". This is a collaboration with musician Bill Nelson. Bill Nelson wrote 9 songs to accompany the graphic novel. The story is a sci-fi western set in the 23rd century featuring a new character called Syrge Cassidy. The release was issued on a limited edition (500 copies) cd feturing the music and the 110 page graphic novel as a pdf. The songs that accompany the novel are THE LAST OF THE NEON CYNICS 1. Riding the Go-Tubes. 2. Interstellar Courier. 3. Decimal Point for the Thousand Races. 4. Jericho's Armband Counsel. 5. Cassidy's Electric Campfire Song. 6. The Colonel Has an Anti-Decimal Scheme. 7. The Blue Taint. 8. Mathematical Prairie. 9. Do Space Trams Dream of Fictitious Passengers? (All music Copyright Bill Nelson 2012. For further information visit http://www.billnelson.com)

Merikan1, it's great that you've done this - it needed doing. I've just edited it for typos and house style, pruned the length down quite a bit and put in some links (e.g. Bill's name now links to his Wikipedia page). Oh, and updated the Publication List (on the grounds that CD releases are a form of publishing).

How dare you?

Just kidding. It is now much more in the Wiki style. Thanks. 8)
