I'm afraid that I don't see the point.

It was said on the radio this morning that sackloads of records arrived at his house every day, and that he kept them all.

So this isn't a database of records that he had selected, or had chosen, or were favourites. I've just had a look at a few of the first online batch, and I didn't see anything other than cataloguing and indexing information. No insightful or incisive comments from the man himself.

So what's the point?

Nevertheless, shall we have a celebration when they reach "N", and "Northern Dream" comes online? :lol:

I'm with you on this. It doesn't really offer anything. It would be nice if there were audio snippets or something from the more obscure stuff.
