Hi Everyone,

I finally managed to snag a copy of the Legends DVD on Amazon (USA), and I have to say that I think that it's much better than Bill gives it credit for in his April and December diary entries. In spite of the many adverse conditions (small stage, too hot, ect) I would give the whole thing an A- only because the camera work is a bit weird at times. This DVD should be essential, required viewing for serious Bill Nelson fans. He and the band are in top form, and the sound is excellent. The solo set is also a special treat, where the focus is more on just the man and his guitar. It may also be the first time we actually get to see him use his e-bow. Great stuff. Miss it at your own loss.

I recently went back on youtube and dicovered that there are many Bill Nelson songs from various albums posted there. Songs from albums like Luminous, Fancy Planets, The Romance Of Sustain, Getting The Holy Ghost Across and others are there for the listening. I consider this an advantage because it allows me to listen to parts of albums I don't have yet, and is a great help in deciding future purchases. It is also good because I get to hear whole songs instead of "snippets". I don't know if Bill approves of his songs being posted on youtube, but I guess the extra exposure can't hurt? I hope that people keep posting his songs on youtube because there are many gaps in my collection and this is a perfect way to find out what I've missed.

Question: Why is this man not obscenely famous??? Joe
