Peter,

This is excellent 8) 8) I'm really impressed :D

I don't know how well this will go down here as there do not appear to be too many jazz fans but I have to say this is very good indeed and well worth a listen 8)

I hear several influences........Manu Katche comes to mind

Are you a professional musician Peter?

I was. Sound Engineer for 15 years. I am now an academic!

The next album might be closer to Bill territory - quite a bit of e-bow - eg:

Please be aware that this is unfinished material.

Manu Katche is great!

Don't know about categorising this as jazz, but it's excellent. I'm going to listen to it tomorrow night while I connect up my recording gear and dream of producing something of that quality in about 50 years

Thank you very much Mr. Mercury (Himself!)

It is knowing that someone, somewhere, liked the music, or found something of value in it, that makes it worthwhile releasing under a creative commons licence.

thank you again.

That's probably because you know bugger all about jazz Mr. M

I should clarify that when I wrote hearing perhaps a Manu Katche influence, I was actually referring to his 2007 album 'Playground' featuring the talents of Marcin Wasilewski on piano and Tomasz Stanko on trumpet.

Katche himself is a drummer

You're thinking of Mr. Magnetism. Although he'd probably like it too
