Have been working somewhat intensely on 'Joy Through Amplification: The Fuzzy World Of Priapus Stratocaster.' It's turning out to be a neo-psychedelic, techno-metal album, (much as predicted. ) Hard, abrasive yet melodic and ecstatic too...a densely rich mix of guitar/vocal ideas with everything pumped up to the max. Headbanging for people with a library ticket? Well...hard to describe it accurately...you'll just have to wait and see. Not finished yet, of course...not by a long way. But here are some of the song titles so far:
'Steamtrain In A Thunderstorm.'
'Imps In The Undergrowth.'
'Every Blessed Thing Is So Damn Fragile.'
'Orpheus Dreams Of Disneyland.'
'Nothing Goes To Plan.'
These are all vocal-based tracks but there may well be one or two instrumental pieces too...haven't decided for certain yet. I need to continue writing and recording and select what works best as a complete album. But for those of you who have been hankering for something rougher and grittier...this one may well float your leaky boat.
GOOD BAD BOY!!! you are merely and mortally teasing and taunting us with "it is what it is", or in this case, "it will be what it will be"... and exactly what we are expecting (and so graciously honoured to soon behold!) you've been laying down some naughty...!
payday is coming soon just in time to patch up this ol' boat o'mine since it sounds like it's going to be time to set sail with the captain! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
p.s.: you have vortexion dreams too? like minds
