Oh Joy, I've just bought a Fireglo Rickenbacker 4003 bass. I'm in bass guitar heaven. . . right, I'll go and dig out The Yes Album, Fragile and Close to the Edge LP's from the loft. I need to listen to the master Rickenbacker man . . .Chris Squire for bass inspiration.

Fender Elite Active Bass

A battered old EKO Ranger held together with wood screws!

Well, I always end up with one. I've had it since the mid-80's. It's a color-stripped strat with rosewood neck, EMG pickups and Floyd Rose whammy-thing.
I removed all the paint back in the 80's since I was supposed to paint it red, but it never happened. So, it's a bit stained after nearly 30 years of use....
Also got a Fender steel acoustic, and for nylon work, I've still got my first guitar. Bought buy my parents back in -71. God bless them! It's pretty battered, but I play it for nostalgic purposes....
