There are many musicians on this forum, mainly, like myself, play the guitar, I guess. What gear do you use? I'll set the ball rolling by listing mine: -
Electric guitars: -
PRS McCarty Model
PRS McCarty Soapbar Standard
PRS Swamp Ash Special
PRS Starla
Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro(1992) - autographed by Bill at Nelsonica in Nov 2010
Patrick Eggle New York Broadway retro fitted with TV Jones p/ups
Levinson Blade RH4 Classic (strat)
Levinson Blade T2 (tele)
Don Grosh Retro Classic (strat)
1982 Fender "JV" Squier Strat
1981 Tokai Tele
Fender Jaguar Baritone Custom
Reverend Warhawk - retro fitted with Bare Knuckle P90s
Godin Acousticaster -set up for classical strings
Acoustic Guitars: -
Larrivee TSB SD 50
Larrivee C09
LarriveeOM9 (tuned DADGAD)
MciLroy A30 (tunes CGCGCD)
Nigel Forster Cusom built 12 fret Model C (tuned DAAEAE)
Ozark "national" (tuned DGDGBD)
Amps - Mesa Boogie Blue Angel; Aer Compact
Effects - Boss DD20, Boss EQ20, Boss Tremelo, Boss Compressor/Sustainer, Boss chromatic tuner, Nonaclone phaser, Sansamp G2' Alesis quadraverb. For acoustics - Boss AD-5 effects processor
Synths: -
Roland Guitar synth
Casio VZ1
Korg Wavestation
Thats it for the time being, but there is always space for another guitar!

Candy apple red Fender Statocaster, Fender combi amp, a tacky, crappy wah-wah pedal by 'Snarling Dog' that squeaks like hell but it does glow in the dark and it's eyes light up  8)

I also occasionally use a Dan Electro digital delay pedal that has a retro 50's look about it and a Marshall chorus pedal. I barely use the effects pedals as I tend to play Blues mostly.

I don't play guitar nearly as much as I should but I'm hoping that this is a temporary thing as the kids are so young!

Electric
Gibson Les Paul
Fender tele
Fender strat
Godin Freeway Classic
Godin Summit CT
Heritage H535
Peerless Tonemaster Custom

Acoustic
Taylor 414CE
A very old Eko Ranger 12 string

I mostly play the electrics through my little Boss GS10 desktop effect unit, but also have a little Peavey valve amp and a H&K 20th anniversary tube edition.

All of my guitars are better guitars than I am a player, but I love noodling around making up little tunes.

Even though I have some "high end" instruments, my favourite is the relatively cheap Godin Summit CT, it just fits me somehow. I also really like the Peerless, a lot of guitar for the money.

Some very nice kit in the above original thread and replies.

I'm no great guitarist, but here's what I hack away on...

Patrick Eggle New York Plus (Interesting to see Howden End's NY Broadway with TV Jones pickups listed)
Gibson Explorer Pro
Washburn jumbo acoustic

I use a combination of analogue and software effects.

Physical stomp boxes include:

MXR Dyna Comp
Marshall Shredmaster (terribly named for quite an understated, tone-rich, overdrive)
Boss SD-1 Overdrive
Electro Harmonix Memory Man Deluxe (Original 70s model)
Marshall EH-1 Echohead
Line 6 Tonecore Verbzilla

I've also a Line 6 Pod 2.0 which I use just for working out ideas with the headphones on!

My old workhorse Yamaha guitar amp recently died, so I've been playing with Amplitube 3.

Other non-guitar kit includes:

Rhodes MkI Stage Piano
Roland Juno 6 synth
Yamaha CS5 synth
Creamware Minimax ASB synth
KORG EMX-1 Electribe synth/workstation
Cello

Yamaha SG2000 (mid 80's)
Burny Les Paul Custom (late 80's jap made)
Greco Les Paul Custom (Mint collection late 80's jap made)
Fender strat
Yamaha acoustic

For effects have a vox tonelab, for live use an 'angry troll' boost and have loads of boss digital effects in the studio.

I'm probably the biggest hack here, John is a virtuoso compared to me.

I usually play an 1960 Rickenbacker 450 (solid body)
sometimes an Epiphone Sheraton II

Direct into my Mac through a MXI Power Booster, all effects in Garageband.

Christ, I am a simpleton.

Eric, I'm surprised the system let you type that without starring out some of the letters. It's pure guitar p*rn.

Somehow I lucked into it, while in college; an acquaintance wanted to sell it and I payed almost nothing for it, though it seemed like a lot at the time.

I hadn't played it for years and recently got it tuned up and it id a delight to play now, though it has the oddest balance.
