Question ? If Bill were to re-issue one or more of the following albums as a 'lossless' FLAC download for you to burn to CD. Which ones would you want ? The download would also include high quality 300dpi artwork for you to print out.

Appreciate the gesture but I would much rather some of those rare Nelsonica albums like Orpheus in Ultraland and Arcadian Salon were re-issued on CD. Computer files just aren't the same thing...

It's also not fair to those that can't get to Nelsonica and aren't as quick as others at getting the VERY small quantity that were offer for sale after the event. :cry: When they do come up on eBay, they sell for outrageous prices and Bill gets none of that...

So, nice, but let's see CD reissues.

All of em! Seriously though, if they were re-released , I would collect them, and would like to keep Mr Nelson in shoe leather. I am still looking to replace Disc 2 of Chance Encounters as mine is scratched , Orchestra Arcana has pinprick holes in it , and Heartbreakland is looking rough too...awful pressings (sprayings) I would gladly pay to replace ... I suppose the adage that CDs last forever has proven untrue as the ones from around the 87 - 89 era are not as good as the first ones (my first ever, bought in Japan 1985 is still going strong), or later...

I think it's already been established that CD re-issues, although very desirable, are not financially viable for Bill. Lossless downloads seem like the next best thing.. :wink:

The only one I have out of those is Custom Deluxe. From what others have reported, the two that would appeal to me most are Dreamland To Starboard & The Romance Of Sustain, so initially I'd be interested in those. Obviously depending on what cash is available, the others would also appeal sooner or later :D

This is a dowload poll.......Bill and Sound on Sound are trying to gauge numbers to see if this is a feasible option to cd reissues. You should start another thread if you want to talk about anything else :shock: :roll:

I will stick my ten pennyworth and say FLAC is not the format to release it in.. I loathe FLAC files ... I would just have to convert them straight away ...
