i've a bit of a gap in my Bill Nelson collection ie. 1978 to 2011 !!! GULP. Its' a start

And at least you've started. Welcome to Dreamsville, Martin Jordan! :)

It will be fun for you to play catch-up. Loads of great music from Our Man Bill over that period.

First up: order what you can from The Dream Dept. Store (monies go right to the artist). Second, your timing is great, as Cherry Red Records will be re-releasing a huge number of out-of-print albums over the next few year. Watch this space for more information as it becomes available.

Also note on the Sound-On-Sound website is a double-CD collection called What Now? What Next? which nicely covers a solid decade of Bill's output. Think of it as a Cliff's Notes album.

I've just listened to all the clips of the new CD's. 'Signals from the Realms of Light', is probably more my 'cup of tea' (at least to start with) as there sounds to be some lovely guitar sounds happening in just those short clips. mmm definately whetted my appetite Bill. The CD artwork for both look stunning :D . Sorry to have been rather negative about Fantasmatron cover artwork in an earlier post.
Righty right, it's my birthday very soon, so I know what one of my presents will be. "I'm expecting a postal order from my Uncle" as Billy Bunter used to say  Yippee

Dreamsville virgin!
As an old time Bill fan (well since 1975 when i was young) but a new member of Dreamsville i'd like to say how much i have enjoyed reading all your posts and decided that it was high time that i got involved. I was at the Leeds gig and thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was good to be in the company of people with impeccable musical taste. We should be proud to be carrying the flag for real music by real musicians.
Mr Nelson, you have always been a thoroughly respectable and immensely talented gentleman and it's about time i shared my love for your music with like minded people so please be gentle with me!
Keep it up Bill.
Remember..........it's just a question of style!
Chris.

Good to have you with us. Only joined a few months back myself (fan since 1979) and found the good citizens of Dreamsville to be a "cool" bunch.
Was at the Leeds event as well and can't wait for Nelsonica 2012.
See ya there dude.

I've just received my copies of Model Village and Signals From Realms Of Light :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I love the cover of Model Village 8) The artwork takes me back to when my grandmother would read us Enid Blyton books at bedtime......

I haven't heard a single note of any of these albums as I wanted to cherish the moment......here we go..........
