Anyone interested in putting together some music as the possible theme music for the 2012 event?

I know it has been mentioned that Bill might like to put something together but thought it would be interesting to have a competition for all you undiscovered musicians at the Dreamsville to have a go.

You never know someone may just come up with a piece that gets used at the event.

Interested?

Sounds a good idea, Sid, if only to challenge ourselves musically, raise our own game, etc... etc...!

Do you want to set some ground rules? E.g. to record a 'demo quality' version by...say 1 month from now? (That will then give us 7 years to get the final piece completed!) I'd be happy to contribute something - anything to take me away from (almost) full-time DIY! (selling house).

Yes John I thought it might be something to "target" any efforts we may make whilst mucking around with our musical stuff.

I've not really thought of ground rules as yet save for the usual "original stuff", "all your own work" et al but I'll think on that and see what happens. As you say, we still have 7 years to come up with something!

If it takes you away from "full time DIY", does that mean I'd be up for Sainthood!! :D

Good luck with the house selling.
