Oh yeah totally! Well I would like to submit the gas station nachos as a viable candidate. The sickly orange molten plastic cheese or the terrifyingly meat like "chili" which needs not be kept at any particular temperature...

If we took any notice of what we shouldn't eat, re 'official food scares' over the years...well, we wouldn't be eating a lot.....Another factor, methinks, which helps generate the overall climate of fear...best not to 'buy into' these things really.

As for food, common sense, balance and moderation are the three key points.

New York's Mayor Bloomberg says we shouldn't drink super-sized sugary beverages and is proposing a ban on those over sixteen ounces in size.

Doesn't he have more important things to do?

There are so many foods/drinks that are bad for you, and seemingly new ones added each day. We've all got to go sometime. I hope the last thing I see is the bottom of a tub of Ben & Jerrys.
