To be honest i find the attack upon something that has helped me and others very disrespectful. Unfortunately I will not be visiting this forum again. I was looking forward to going to Nelsonica for the first time with my wife, however I haven't the heart right now to be amongst people who would openly mock.
I have discussed tis subject with Bill on a couple of times, and though I know his views he's always treated me with respect and I have respected his views.
To me music has always been a big love that has transcended opinions on how we live and believe we should live, and still is.

Hi Michael
Like you, I don't post very often on DV (simply don't have time).
I am not agreeing or disagreeing with anyone's viewpoints - I tend to take the advice given to my father by my grandfather when he joined the armed forces during WWII - to never discuss religion, politics or money, as doing so almost inevitably leads to arguments and fall outs.
Anyhow, my rather waffling point is that there will be around 200/250? people at Nelsonica, the majority of whom do not post often, or in many cases, at all on DV and whose purpose for being there will almost certainly not be to discuss religion or mock anyone's beliefs.
As you rightly say: ".... music has always been a big love that has transcended opinions ...."
Hope you reconsider, it will be an unforgettable day for all the right reasons!
