It has been strangely cold this spring out here, too.

That Highland rabbit looks tough. Looks ready to take on more cold. 8)

Yes, I know. I've tried before. So tonight it's duvet and room service. I'll just have stay in until Summer comes. Putting on a hat. Indoors, in bed! Fuck me.

And I just checked. Scunthorpe is shut.

The Telegraph headline is rubbish (quelle surprise). I've been to the Arctic and it's much colder there. I even had to wear a scarf, and I'm a Northerner.

Astro, if your hotel room is too cold try setting fire to the furniture. If it's good enough for F Scott Fitzgerald .......

Yes, thank you, Fellini. Of course, that sort of thing is always right up there at the top for me when it comes to solutions. But right now, the chef has brought me a pizza Margherita and a pint of coca-cola. So my hands are tied (busy). The hotel lasts another night.

But really, I shouldn't because some of you Nelsonians may have need for a (more affordable) room in a the coming months.

I can feel my toes now! And they're squealing, happy little piggies. :P

Oh, and as long as I am at it, I just remembered how expensive England can be. Taxi from airport to city? £88. Train from Kings X to York? $94. Over three hundred pounds pissed away on transit. And the sun is still out.
