Thought id share this with you after looking into any snippets about the TV music show "The Tube", this concerning getting Half Man Half Biscuit to appear on the show...


Ken tried to book Half Man Half Biscuit for the show but they could not come as they were seeing their favorite football team Tranmere Rovers at the time. They were offered all kinds of riders to attend, including the production company filming the match for them, which they declined and he even offered to get a helicopter to fly them up for the show and get them back again in time for the second half. Following much effort which ultimately failed, Ken asked them "If you like Tranmere Rovers so much then why don't you write a song about them?", to which they replied "Ken, we don't do love songs."
