Then there's Pavlov's Dog whose lead singer, David Surkamp was described by Rolling Stone as "Marty Balin on helium". Servicable commercial progressive rock from the 70's with a pixie-voiced lead singer.

There's a couple of pages on them in the current issue of Classic Rock magazine (which is all about 1977). Apparently one of their long-lost albums is being released, and they have a couple of live dates coming up in the UK.

I like Martin Turner’s voice. Especially on the 'New England’ album - ‘In All Of My Dreams You Rescue Me’ is a nice ballad. And on the previous, ‘There’s The Rub’, ‘Persephone’. But maybe that’s just me?[

On second thought-Yes 'New England' is my fav Wisbone Ash lp-All of my dreams-great vocals

No worries, Tom. If you get to the point where you are as wrong as often as I am, then I will chastise you! Glad we agree. With Robbot, and TiW, as well. Happy families.

Pet Shop Boys

Psychedelic Furs.

I don't hate them but these are not voices I can listen to for an entire album for some reason. I just find them kind of grating. :| It sucks too because I really like a lot of the music and the lyrics.
