A Consideration regarding the issuing of Vinyl records with Bill Nelson's Solo Name upon

The last vinyl 12 inch record bearing your name was the 'LUMINOUS' Imaginary Records Of 1991

Is there been a good reason as to why you have never issued anything under your own name for many years in the Vinyl 12 Inch Format?

Do you see the format as Archaic? costly to reproduce and thus re sell

getting a decent pressing plant? (apparent!!)
financial considerations?

Have you an opinion on 24/96 reproduction Audio playback and whether it makes any difference to the listening experience as opposed to 16/44?

Back into it. Less cds, more vinyl purchased of late.

Of course, you have to stay on top of it, and flip the disc or grab another every 20 mins or so. :lol:

Which may not be a bad ting...makes for more involved listening.

if not cost prohibitive, I'd like to hear/get some of Bill's music on 180 gram vinyl...maybe a very limited edition. :wink:

12" singles? Horrible things. Much like vinyl albums.

Take up oodles space, get dusty the moment they leave the packaging, get scratched despite ones best efforts, require a record player - which needs regular needle changes, cloths to clean them etc. Only redeeming thing is a nice big cover!

Now CD's...eat your dinner of them, have a game of frisbee and still sound really rather good!

Just for that comment, I hope Bill puts out a vinyl release that includes the sounds of static, hums and buzzes and other analog related splendour.

Too big, every time I move something I come across something else.

Found a "Be Bop Deluxe, Clock" a few weeks ago.

Will try and post a picture soon, this will also be in this year's raffle.
