Much more helpful Wonder Toy. Thanks for the advice. :)

Love to be helpful. :)

Good advice, alec. 'What Now, What Next?' why not? A great sampler type album with beautiful packaging.

Yes, I only purchased it very recently. Some memories came flooding back. I'd not listened to some of these tracks in literally decades. Sort of out-of-body-like.

Sorry.Just being silly.

If you like Be Bop Deluxe style guitar driven stuff 'Fancy Planets' is a sure bet.

I hear 'Theater of Falling Leaves' is good for fans of Bill's Keyboard/synthy type stuff.

I haven't had a bad experience with any of the albums I bought.

Sounds like you are a fan of the Be Bop era, so I'll say 'Fancy Planets.'

Hope that is a little more helpful. :)

Welcome Firetracie,

I would agree with wonder toy on this

Welcome Firetracie to this here pub. I'd say What Now, What Next is a good starting point. You have to be carefull with Fancy Planets and Mighty Atoms because if you go into these expecting some kind of a BeBopDeluxe revival, you may be disapointed. You have to deal with BBD as great music from long ago, and connect with Bill's artistic development through all these years. He wont let you down.

Andre had a red beard in the 1980s. I grew out a beard in the late 1980s that was red as well.
