The percussion on 'The Boy Who Knew The Names Of Trains' from 'The Dream Transmission Pavilion' sounds as if it was performed upon the bottom of a plastic bucket. 8)

When Joe Meek recorded "Telstar" it was in a flat above a shop. The drum sound was supposed to have been achieved by bouncing a signal off the satellite itself. It was in fact a bucket recorded in a bath tub. It sold millions.
